About us
Kahveci Functional Polymers and Biomaterials Research Group is located at the Istanbul Technical University, Department of Chemistry, and mainly focuses design, synthesis, modification and characterization of functional polymers and their applications. Particularly, synthesis of functional monomers and initiators by organic synthetic pathways, development and applications of Click reactions, polymer synthesis by controlled/living polymerization techniques (ATRP, RAFT), photopolymerizations, and implementations of functional polymers in biomedical fields are main works in the group.
